New Ansat and Ka-226T helicopters are attracting interest not only within Russia but also abroad. This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
According to him, the first flights of the fully import-substituted Ansat and Ka-226T confirmed that Russia has already covered a significant part of the path to technological independence.
These machines can be useful in many corners of our large, beautiful country, including the Arctic territories. There is also interest in them from other states.
The Ansat and Ka-226T are equipped with the new VK-650V engine. Its initial resource is only 74 hours. Also, the continuous operation mode at 590 hp is limited to 20 minutes, although international requirements are up to 60 minutes.
Aviation expert Roman Gusarov explained to "Pervy Tekhnichesky" that the resource of the VK-650V will be extended as serial operation progresses. The specialist did not specify the timing.
