"The reserve was formed in advance": Kaliningrad region commented on the situation with gasoline

Governor Besprozvannykh: There is enough fuel at the main gas stations

There is no fuel shortage in the Kaliningrad region; its volumes are sufficient for consumer needs. This was stated by Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh at a meeting in the regional government.

According to Besprozvannykh, residents of other Russian regions are concerned about restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel at gas stations. He explained that the limits "are related specifically to fuel producers," and not to gas stations.

For the Kaliningrad region, there are no such restrictions yet; for the main types of our gas station networks, you can see that there is enough fuel.

The head of the region urged to remain calm, as "the reserve was formed in advance."

Earlier, an alleged decree by Besprozvannykh appeared online, according to which automotive fuel would be sold to certain categories of consumers. The governor's press secretary denied this information, calling it a fake.

In mid-June, gas stations in various constituent entities of the Russian Federation began to introduce restrictions on the sale of gasoline and diesel fuel. Limits were set at 20-30 liters per person.

In Crimea, fuel was sold by coupons, and then it began to be dispensed only for emergency vehicles. In the Samara region, authorities instructed the regional FAS department to monitor gasoline pricing.

In the Omsk region, the sale of fuel in canisters was prohibited. At the same time, refueling a car's tank should not exceed 40 liters. Diesel began to be dispensed no more than 80 liters per person.
