AI bloggers are no longer an exotic phenomenon. According to Go Influence analysts, by 2030, up to 30% of bloggers in users' subscriptions could be AI characters. This means that feeds may increasingly feature virtual influencers created with technology, rather than live authors. The agency surveyed 3,200 respondents.

According to the study results, 59% of Russians are aware of the existence of AI bloggers. A third of respondents, or 33%, have encountered them at least once on social media.

However, actual penetration into subscriptions remains low. Only 7% are confident that they already follow at least one virtual influencer. Another 73% believe that they do not have such authors in their subscriptions.

Go Influence notes that the market already shows a significant gap: people know about AI bloggers and are interested in them, but there is no stable trust in such characters yet.

The main problem is that not all users understand who they are interacting with. Only 28% of respondents are confident they can distinguish an AI blogger from a human. Another 26% admit it is difficult for them to do so, and more than a third, 34%, have never thought about it.

Daniil Kireev, Director of the ML Department and Fundamental Research at MWS AI, predicts that the AI content market will develop unevenly. In topics where trust plays a lesser role, virtual authors will be able to grow their audience faster. But in more sensitive areas, it will still be important for users to understand that a living person is behind the content.
