The crewed spacecraft "Soyuz MS-29" has passed an important test before its upcoming flight to the International Space Station. Tests in a vacuum chamber have been completed at Baikonur. Specialists checked the airtightness of the spacecraft's compartments and onboard systems. According to Roscosmos, the inspection passed without remarks.
Pneumovacuum tests began on June 9. The test is needed to ensure that the spacecraft is ready for space conditions, where there is no normal Earth pressure.
After the completion of the check, "Soyuz MS-29" was transported to the workplace for further pre-flight preparation. Now specialists will check the automation of the combined propulsion system and the descent controls.
The spacecraft will also be fueled with coolant for the thermal control system.
In addition, the preparation of "Kazbek-UM" seats and individual crew equipment is planned.
The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1a" launch vehicle with the crewed spacecraft "Soyuz MS-29" to the ISS is scheduled for July 14, 2026. The spacecraft is to deliver the crew of the 75th main expedition to the station.
