Employees of the security service of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) reported possible mass layoffs and pressure from management. The unit's headcount has decreased from approximately 75 to less than 20 people.
The changes began after the reorganization of the service in February 2026. At that time, the transfer of some functions to a private security company was discussed.
UZGA is engaged in the development and repair of aviation equipment, including the "Baikal" and TVRS-44 "Ladoga" projects. The plant has published a new vacancy on a job search website – an engine test mechanic.
The enterprise is ready to pay the employee 37 thousand rubles for a 5/2 schedule with an eight-hour workday. No work experience is required, employment is under an employment contract.
Aviation expert Alexey Zakharov claimed that work on the LMS-901 reached a dead end due to constant design changes.
