The import-substituted Superjet-100 aircraft will begin regular flights by the end of this year. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov.
According to him, the liner is already ready for serial deliveries; manufacturers will be able to dispatch the aircraft immediately after receiving the type certificate.
I think that by the end of the year we will see this aircraft on regular flights.
The SJ-100 is a new short-haul aircraft being developed under the import substitution program for systems and components.
The liner will become another model in the family of currently operated Superjet aircraft with foreign onboard systems. The aircraft has not yet received its type certificate.
Earlier, Alikhanov stated that the aircraft would need up to four years to overcome the "teething problems" that arose immediately after the start of serial operation.
