Operational-tactical anti-terrorist drills to protect fuel and energy complex facilities have concluded in Sakhalin. The exercises involved ZALA T-16 unmanned aerial systems and manned aircraft, which worked together in a single airspace.
During the exercises, specialists practiced the interaction of unmanned and manned aircraft in monitoring the territory and responding to potential threats. ZALA T-16 UAVs were used for aerial surveillance, target search, and real-time information transmission.
The UAVs were equipped with the IRRA intelligent hardware and software complex, which allows automatic detection and recognition of objects, monitoring changes in the situation, and promptly transmitting data to operators. The system continues to operate even in complex electronic warfare environments thanks to secure communication channels and alternative navigation.
Following the training, ZALA equipment confirmed the possibility of stable joint operation with manned aviation. Continuous video data transmission and stable communication allowed coordinating the actions of the exercise participants and increasing the effectiveness of force management on site.
