The crew of the small missile ship (MRK) Zelony Dol (Project 21631 Buyan-M) conducted artillery firing and repelled an attack by unmanned boats of a mock enemy during exercises in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the Baltic Fleet.
The sailors carried out a set of air defence exercises. Illuminating artillery shells were used to simulate low-flying drones.
Fire was delivered at them from the 30 mm AK-630M-2 shipborne artillery mount.
The press service added that all designated targets had been hit. Then the crew of the MRK Zelony Dol fired the AK-190 artillery mount at an enemy warship. It was simulated by a small sea target shield.
In addition to live-fire tasks, the Baltic sailors conducted drills on damage control and ship survivability. They also practiced defence in the event of an attack by saboteurs.
