PJSC "Yakovlev" will prepare the first three copies of the light aircraft Yak-130M by the end of 2027. This was stated by the managing director of the enterprise, Vasily Prutkovsky.
So far, three aircraft are in production. One after another, with a difference of a couple of months, we will have three flight copies ready by the end of the year. Then we will conduct flight tests.
The prototype Yak-130M was first presented at the Army-2024 exhibition. The combat training aircraft will receive a guided weapons system at the level of a light attack aircraft.
A few days ago, Prutkovsky stated that the first test flight of the Yak-130M is scheduled for June 2026.
Rostec emphasized that the modernization will allow to arm the Yak-130M with air-to-air missiles and bombs with satellite and laser guidance systems.
