Refusal to work at the Il-96 plant cost a resident of Voronezh 200 thousand rubles

The Ostrogozhsky District Court of the Voronezh Region satisfied the claim of PJSC "Il". The defendant was a resident of the Repyevsky district, whom the company sent to study as a toolmaker.

During the courses, the man was provided with a monthly scholarship of 56.5 thousand rubles. After successfully completing the training, the resident of the Repyevsky district was obliged to work at PJSC "Il" for at least one year.

However, the man violated the terms of the contract, left the courses early without valid reasons, and did not receive a toolmaker's certificate.

The Ostrogozhsky District Court ruled to recover 207 thousand 388 rubles 19 kopecks from the defendant. The decision has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed in accordance with the established procedure.

The VASO plant, which is part of PJSC "Il", is located in Voronezh. The company produces long-range wide-body aircraft of the Il-96 series, including Il-96-300 and Il-96-400M.

However, the head of the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade, Sergei Khlyzov, stated about the lack of orders for the Il-96. In his opinion, domestic airlines decided to wait for the opportunity to buy Boeing.
