Two new workshops will be built at Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407 by 2027 to fulfill orders for Russian MS-21, Tu-214, and Il-76 aircraft. The company already produces about two hundred parts for the MS-21 composite wing console.
One of the workshops will start producing parts with machining and electroplating. The other is intended for vibro-impact hardening.
Contracts for the production of parts and assemblies for the MS-21 and Tu-214 already amount to hundreds of millions of rubles. In the near future, there will be an expansion in the volume of parts supplies specifically for new aircraft.
The nomenclature already counts hundreds of items. Minsk Plant No. 407 already provides a full range of aircraft repair and maintenance services, including warranty support.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the MS-21-310 flap fairings can withstand temperature differences from -190 to +450 °C. Now these composites are produced in Russia.
