The Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry presented a series of futuristic renders depicting the vision of heavy commercial vehicles of the future. The concepts were created by students and young professionals who participated in the specialized track "Transport Design" of the federal competition "Young Design 2025".
PJSC KAMAZ acted as a key partner of the event and independently formulated competitive tasks. They were aimed at developing current trends in industrial design in the automotive industry — from aerodynamics and ergonomics to the integration of digital interfaces and sustainable materials.
As part of the entire competition, which included thirteen nominations, the organizers received more than 800 applications from students and young designers from thirty cities in Russia and foreign countries.
The works demonstrate a bold look at what a main tractor or special equipment might become in the coming years. Computer visualizations combine technological effectiveness, expressive plasticity and practical functionality — precisely those qualities that determine the competitiveness of the Russian automotive industry today.
