UTS-800 to Receive Upgradable PNK-800: Preliminary Tests Completed

The Russian "Brain" of the Training Aircraft Adapts to Any Customer Requirements

The PNK-800 flight and navigation system for the UTS-800 training aircraft has successfully passed preliminary tests. This was announced by an official representative of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA) at the World Defense Show-2026 international exhibition in Riyadh.

Preliminary tests of the PNK-800 flight and navigation system have been completed, and the design documentation has been assigned the "O" code. Interdepartmental tests are currently underway.

According to the plant representative, the key competitive advantage of the Russian PNK-800 is its high degree of upgradability and the ability to adapt to specific customer requirements. The complex acts as the "brain" of the UTS-800 aircraft — the central element of the onboard radio-electronic equipment (BREO). It collects, processes, and integrates data from all onboard systems, presenting it to pilots in the most convenient and informative way.

The PNK-800 includes multifunctional indicators that simultaneously perform the functions of onboard computers, as well as specialized software developed by UZGA.

Among the wide range of functionalities of the complex are the display of basic flight parameters and navigation information, continuous monitoring of the technical condition of the aircraft, solving aircraft navigation tasks, as well as supporting training modes for effective pilot training.
