UTS-800 to receive the upgradeable PNK-800: preliminary trials completed

The Russian "brain" of the trainer aircraft is adapting to any customer requirements

The PNK-800 flight-navigation complex for the UTS-800 trainer aircraft has successfully completed preliminary trials. This was reported by an official representative of the Ural Works of Civil Aviation (UZGA) at the international exhibition World Defense Show-2026 in Riyadh.

Preliminary trials of the PNK-800 flight-navigation complex have been completed, and the design documentation has been assigned "Letter O". Interdepartmental trials are now underway.

According to the plant representative, the key competitive advantage of the Russian PNK-800 is its high degree of upgradeability and the ability to adapt it to specific customer requirements. The complex acts as the "brain" of the UTS-800 aircraft, serving as the central element of the onboard radio-electronic equipment (avionics). It collects, processes, and integrates data from all onboard systems, presenting it to pilots in the most convenient and informative form.

The PNK-800 includes multifunction displays that simultaneously perform the functions of onboard computers, as well as specialized software developed in-house by UZGA.

Among the complex's broad functional capabilities are the display of key flight parameters and navigation information, continuous monitoring of the aircraft's technical condition, solving aircraft navigation tasks, as well as support for simulator modes for effective pilot training.
