The Il-114-300 is designed for operation on local airlines. The aircraft is a modernized version of the Il-114 turboprop aircraft. Its passenger capacity is 68 people.

It is expected that the Il-114-300 will replace the outdated An-24s, as well as similar foreign-made aircraft, on domestic airlines.

The aircraft is being developed by the S.V. Ilyushin Aviation Complex (the parent company of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Il-114-300 made a historic flight to India.
