Rosatom's structure went to court against the manufacturer of PD-14 engines

Solikamsk Magnesium Plant filed a lawsuit against "ODK-UMPO" for 21.9 million rubles

Solikamsk Magnesium Plant (SMZ, part of Rosatom) has filed a claim for the recovery of 21.9 million rubles, as well as penalties in the amount of 943.2 thousand rubles from the "ODK-UMPO" plant. The case was registered in the Arbitration Court of Bashkortostan.

The ruling states that the defendant filed a motion to postpone the trial in order to settle the dispute amicably. The next meeting will be held on March 5, 2026.

OJSC "SMZ" is the oldest currently operating magnesium plant in the world. SMZ accounts for the production of 100% of rare earth element compounds, niobium and tantalum, 60% of commercial magnesium and 4–5% of sponge titanium in the country.

"ODK-UMPO" is part of the United Engine Corporation of Rostec and produces PD-14 engines for the MS-21-310 airliner.
