Hundreds of universal ground robotic systems (GRS) "Impulse" have been delivered to customers. This was reported by the press service of the All-Russian People's Front, whose "Kulibin Club" project supports domestic engineers.
The platform is capable of transporting up to 500 kg of cargo on board and towing a trailer weighing up to 1.5 tons, while maintaining operability even on inclines of up to 25 degrees. The device is designed to solve a wide range of tasks: from delivering goods and equipment to performing earthworks and installing specialized modular equipment.
Control is carried out remotely — via a secure radio channel with MESH technology or via fiber optics. In the event of a fiber optic line break, the system automatically switches to radio communication. Thanks to the MESH architecture, robots can be combined into a self-organizing network, where each device acts as a signal repeater. This ensures stable communication in difficult conditions, increases the control range and allows you to scale the group without losing the quality of the connection.
A representative of the developer company "Gumich-RTK" noted that the platform supports operation as part of a "swarm": one or more operators can simultaneously control several machines that amplify each other's signal. Both ground and air devices can be used as repeaters.
