The Russian government has prepared a bill aimed at developing the road network in the regions. This was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be able to use their own funds for the construction and maintenance of federal roads, along with funding from the federal budget and investments from private investors.
The new mechanism is already expected to be used in several projects. These include the construction of the southern bypass of Tyumen, as well as the interchange of the M-12 Vostok highway with the Small Ring Road in the Moscow region.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted that over the past five years, about 140 thousand kilometers of federal, regional and local highways have been built and repaired in the country. The work continues within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
It is expected that the implementation of the bill will strengthen the transport connectivity of the country.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the construction of a new section of the Moscow Speed Diameter has started.
