Raising the PD-50 floating dock from the bottom of the Kola Bay of the Barents Sea will cost the budget approximately 840 million rubles. JSC "Lenmorniiproekt" has posted 18 announcements in the EIS "Purchases" system about the search for contractors to carry out the work.

The contracts provide for the implementation of a wide range of surveys and inspections, without which the lifting of the PD-50 is impossible.

The list of works includes geodetic, geological, environmental and archaeological studies, as well as underwater inspection of the dock hull and the search for possible explosive objects on it.

Separate purchases of "Lenmorniiproekt" are related to the preparation of fisheries characteristics of the area and assessment of the impact on aquatic biological resources. For example, the Murmansk Marine Biological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences was chosen as the contractor for hydrobiological research.
