Geoscan Implements In-House GNSS Tracker for Remote Drone Identification

The company tested the system on three drone models and integrated it into a cloud-based flight management platform

Geoscan has completed successful testing of its own development — a GNSS tracker designed for remote identification and management of unmanned aerial vehicles. The testing took place on three drone models: Geoscan 201, Geoscan 401, and Geoscan 701.

GNSS Tracker Testing

During the flights, the equipment promptly transmitted key identification data — including the identification index, aircraft type, current coordinates, and altitude — to the Geoscan cloud-based flight management system. From there, the information was automatically sent to the Flight Plan Presentation System (SPPI), which confirmed the solution's compatibility with the requirements of the Russian regulatory framework in the field of unmanned aviation.

All tracker functions are fully integrated into the cloud-based flight management platform developed by the company. The solution makes it possible to centrally monitor the status of the UAV fleet, control the work of pilots, analyze mission history, and receive statistics on drone operation in real time.

Earlier, www1.ru wrote that Geoscan created a navigation system that unites all robots in the class into a single environment.
