Russian Oreshnik missile system goes on combat duty in Belarus

Lukashenko: Mobile complex will not be in one place

The Russian Oreshnik mobile ground missile system with the ballistic missile of the same name, a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM), went on combat duty in Belarus on January 17. This was announced by the President of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko, during his address at the All-Belarusian People's Assembly.

The first positions are equipped with the Oreshnik missile system, it has been with us since yesterday and is taking up combat duty.

Earlier, the head of state stated that "Oreshnik" would not be in one place. Since the complex is mobile, it will be able to "patrol certain points" and, if necessary, strike. Lukashenko did not disclose details about the location of the latest weapon.
