The descent module of the manned spacecraft "Soyuz MS-27" made an accurate and soft landing in Kazakhstan on the morning of December 9. The capsule of the spacecraft landed at 08:03:30 Moscow time southeast of Zhezkazgan, precisely at the calculated point with coordinates 47°22' north latitude and 69°43' east longitude.
On board were cosmonauts Sergei Ryzhikov, Alexei Zubritsky, and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim. All key stages of the return - entry into the dense layers of the atmosphere, deployment of the parachute system, and final braking - proceeded normally and without deviations. Search and rescue teams arrived at the site almost immediately after landing, promptly ensuring the evacuation of the crew.
The landing of the "Soyuz MS-27" spacecraft marked the completion of a 245-day expedition to the ISS. During the long mission, the crew members performed a large amount of scientific experiments, service operations, and technical work. Ryzhikov and Zubritsky also conducted two spacewalks to perform tasks related to the maintenance of the orbital complex.
Roscosmos noted that all return parameters corresponded to the calculated ones. Specialists have already begun the initial medical examination of the crew and preparation of the capsule for transportation.
