The Ural Works of Civil Aviation (UWCA) announced that the design of the new UTS-800 training aircraft was originally developed with the possibility of subsequent modernization. In particular, the UTS-800 training aircraft has already been adapted to perform functions beyond the basic pilot training: it has gained the ability to simulate combat operations - to conduct "fire" and carry out "bombing". This was stated by the official representative of the enterprise, Ekaterina Zgirovskaya.
UTS-800 is also equipped with a flight and navigation system that allows simulating combat use modes without the use of real ammunition.
According to her, the UTS-800 flight and aviation complex already provides modeling of complex tactical tasks at the current stage: from simulating air combat and group interaction to performing strikes on ground targets. In particular, the system displays the so-called "forecast path" on the windshield indicator, which allows the pilot to visualize the process of firing from cannon armament. In addition, the possibility of simulating bombing is provided.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the UTS-800 aircraftreceived a unique system of movement on the ground.
