The Samara enterprise "ODK-Kuznetsov" (part of the United Engine Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation) has put into operation the newest production facility for gas turbine engine compressors. This was reported by the ODK press service.
Here, parts ranging in size from a few centimeters to two meters are processed, ODK clarified.
"ODK-Kuznetsov" specializes in the development, production, and servicing of gas turbine and rocket engines.
One of the latest and most important developments of the company is the NK-32-02 for the strategic missile carrier Tu-160M produced by the Kazan Aviation Plant.
In September, "ODK-Kuznetsov" changed its head. Instead of Alexey Sobolev, the enterprise was headed by Oleg Vydumlev.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that UAC showed the Su-57 in the paint shop for the first time.
