The Russian technology company YADRO is launching the production of mini-case personal computers for the corporate sector (mini-PCs) under the Kvadra brand. Dmitry Cherkasov, General Director of Yadro Client Systems LLC, announced this.
Cherkasov explained that the difference between a mini-PC and a standard personal computer is in size. The YADRO development is equipped with a processor, RAM, and storage. Such devices are usually used in offices to optimize the workspace.
The General Director of Yadro Client Systems LLC did not disclose the investment in the project. However, he clarified that the total investment in the production of equipment under the Kvadra brand over the past 2 years amounted to 3 billion rubles.
About YADRO products
YADRO produces a whole line of Kvadra devices. The first of these was the Kvadra_T tablet, followed by a monitor, system unit, laptop, and monoblock.
The new device, the Kvadra TAU mini, is similar in form factor (a standard that defines physical dimensions) to the American-made Apple Mac mini. The mini-PC has already been entered into the Unified Register of Russian Electronic Products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The developer does not disclose the computer's specifications.
