SJ-100 project reaches a new stage: PJSC Yakovlev receives the second production interior

The liner's interior sets are created in three Russian cities

In October 2025, the company "Aviation Interiors" handed over to PJSC Yakovlev (part of the Rostec Group) the second production set of passenger interior for the Russian SJ-100 aircraft with tail number 97005. The set consists of toilet and kitchen modules, luggage racks and a set of passenger cabin trim.

At the customer's production center, specialists from "Aviation Interiors" together with "Yakovlev" began incoming inspection of the interior before its installation on board.

Thanks to the coordinated work of our divisions in Kazan, Moscow and Voronezh, we are reaching a stable production rate — one serial interior kit per month. This allows us to consistently increase volumes and fulfill our obligations under the SJ-100 program.
Stanislav Gubchansky, Deputy General Director for Production of Aviation Interiors

SJ-100 is a short-range narrow-body aircraft for 100 passengers. As part of the import substitution work, the airliner is equipped with Russian engines, avionics, landing gear, auxiliary power unit, control systems, power supply, air conditioning, fire protection, as well as passenger cabin interior.

Earlier www1.ru reported that Kazan Aviation Plant will increase capacity for serial production of the aircraft.
