Our Chinese partners have been actively operating Russian heavy and super-heavy helicopters for many years. For example, the Ka-32A11VS is traditionally used for firefighting, proving its effectiveness even in the most difficult conditions.

According to the holding's CEO, Nikolai Kolesov, the total fleet of Russian helicopters in China exceeds 450 units, of which about 390 (approximately 85%) are heavy Mi-8/17s. Chinese airlines are considering expanding their helicopter fleet.

Chinese airlines are showing interest in the Ka-32A11VS and modernized Ka-32A11M for firefighting, the Mi-8/17 for search and rescue operations, and the Mi-26TS for disaster relief. The light Ansat helicopters are also in demand for emergency medical services and flight crew training.

The Ka-32A11VS helicopter has proven itself in dozens of foreign countries due to its maneuverability and ability to operate in dense urban environments, including fighting fires in high-rise buildings. The multi-purpose Mi-8/17 are constantly being modernized. This increases their efficiency and expands their scope of application.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the Ansat helicopter helped save several hundred lives.
