Modernized Il-114-300 aircraft will be equipped with the TV7-117ST-01 engine. The 3100 hp turboprop will ensure the operation of the liners even in the conditions of the North and high altitudes, the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of the Rostec State Corporation) noted.
The combined modernized engine and propeller control unit will ensure high reliability of the power plant.
Thanks to the use of a modern engine, the Il-114-300 aircraft can take off and land on short and unpaved runways.
The creation of the TV7-117ST-01 engine involved the most modern technologies — a digital automatic control system, new domestic materials for blades and an improved turbine. All this makes the engine more powerful and quieter than its predecessors, providing fuel efficiency.
The St. Petersburg enterprise "UEC-Klimov" for the TV7-117ST-01 engine also created a combined modernized engine and propeller control unit.
