Air taxis may appear in certain cities of Russia within 10 years, subject to successful certification and the development of the necessary infrastructure, the Ministry of Transport noted. However, aviation expert Roman Gusarov said that the living environment needs to be reorganized to implement the project.
According to him, the problem is that it is not yet clear where exactly unmanned vehicles will fly.
If in this case we are talking about air taxis, then we assume that an unmanned aerial vehicle, say, on call from an application, for example, flies up to your house, you get on it and, therefore, go where you need to go.
Gusarov noted that power lines, trees, houses, and high-rise buildings are located around Russians. The question arises - how will any air taxis move in all this interweaving and obstacles.
But, of course, someday in the future, unmanned taxis will definitely appear. But for this we will have to work very, very hard and, perhaps, even reorganize, say, the living environment around us.
An industry specialist warned that this type of transportation is likely to be quite expensive.
Earlier www1.ru reported that 54.47 billion rubles were found for scientific work for the aviation industry.
