The Ufa enterprise UEC-UMPO (part of the United Engine Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation) has passed an audit and confirmed that it meets all the requirements for the production of parts for the fifth-generation PD-14 aircraft engine.
The successful completion of the certification audit indicates that UEC-UMPO ensures the production of PD-14 parts and components in full compliance with the requirements for quality and reliability. Our enterprise also possesses all the competencies necessary for the overhaul of parts and components of this engine.
Experts from the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) visited the divisions involved in the production of parts and components for the PD-14 engine and studied the technical and production documentation. The inspection confirmed that the production of parts and components for the PD-14 engine at UEC-UMPO meets the requirements of Russian air legislation.
The Ufa enterprise UEC-UMPO manufactures key components for aircraft engines, including fan blades, high-pressure compressor rotor parts, separation housings, and low-pressure turbine modules with rear support. The company is responsible for the manufacture of more than 33% of all parts and components of the PD-14 engine, designed for medium-range aircraft.
