The Ministry of Defense of Poland has completely decommissioned Soviet Su-22 fighter-bombers. Such aircraft began to be decommissioned back in 2014, now they will be completely sent to storage.
According to the country's Air Force modernization plan, the Polish military department will replace all decommissioned Су-22 with ударными беспилотными летательными аппаратами.
The USSR transferred 90 units of Су-22 to Poland, which became part of the first contract for the supply of these aircraft. Poland received variants of the Су-22М-4 and Су-22УМ3К aircraft between 1980 and 1985.
