Exact Date for Serial Deliveries of PD-8 Aircraft Engines Announced

The transfer of power units will begin in Q4 2025

Serial deliveries of PD-8 aircraft engines are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, according to materials for the meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin on engine building.

The document notes that as part of the implementation of the comprehensive program, the supply of 84 serial power plants in the interests of PJSC "Yakovlev" has been contracted.

Currently, the development of the PD-8 is at the stage of certification tests, and certification is scheduled for 2025.

In 2025, six PD-8 engines were delivered for flight tests of SJ-100 prototypes; currently, more than 50 test flights have been performed on two aircraft.

As for the PD-14 engines, eight units have been manufactured and delivered for certification tests of the MC-21 aircraft.
