Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade Alikhanov discussed cooperation in the industry with Chinese partners

The head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, during a working visit to China, discussed cooperation in the field of aircraft engine construction with Chinese partners, the ministry's press service reported.

In China, Alikhanov visited the workshops of the Chinese Institute of Aviation Engines, as well as innovation and technological development centers.

A year ago, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov reported that the supply of Russian aircraft components, including engines, is being considered as an option for cooperation between the two countries in the field of aircraft production. According to him, this requires adjustments to previously approved interstate documents.

Initially, Russia and China discussed the joint creation of the Russian-Chinese wide-body passenger aircraft CR929.

Earlier www1.ru reported that 14 SSJ-100 aircraft were found to have defects in the fuselage design.
