The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) has called flight safety and the improvement of aircraft design an unconditional priority against the backdrop of the Federal Air Transport Agency's order to airlines to check 14 Sukhoi Superjet 100 (RRJ-95) aircraft for technical deviations.
Technical flaws were found on some 2016 aircraft between the cockpit and the passenger door.
Flight safety and continuous improvement of design and operational documentation are the company's unconditional priority.
Specialists of PJSC "Yakovlev" discovered deviations in the standard fuselage design on 14 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft at the junction of stringers 42-44 with the beam — the doubler of frame 12 of compartment F2 from the design documentation.
UAC added that the work includes, among other things, the modification of aircraft systems and enhanced control of critical structural elements.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a video of the tests of the new PD-35 aircraft engine has appeared, but there is no aircraft for it yet.
