In Russia, testing has begun on a new modification of the "Chernika-2" flying wing drone. The new product is designed to destroy unmanned boats at sea.
Versions have appeared with a target tracking system and optical navigation, as well as a reconnaissance aircraft with a camera on a three-axis gimbal.
Constructive changes have been made to the "Chernika-2" line, which have affected flight characteristics. The goal of the large-scale revisions is to increase resistance to new electronic warfare (EW) equipment, facilitate the operation process, and improve resistance to impacts in flight.
A separate fuse board with a four-stage protection system against unintentional initiation was developed for "Chernika-2".
Earlier www1.ru reported that five nuclear submarines in Russia will be converted to carry "Caliber", "Zircon" and "Onyx" missiles.
