AvtoVAZ has integrated a side airbag into the Lada Niva Legend model. The car has also been equipped with a fully functional ERA-GLONASS system. The new SUVs are expected to go on sale in September.
AvtoVAZ representatives previously announced plans to return the side airbag to the Lada Niva Legend in the spring. Initially, it was said that the Niva would receive a side airbag in the driver's seat. In the future, there are also plans to replace the steering wheel so that a front airbag can be integrated into it.
Lada Niva Travel received airbags in November last year.
