The former director of the Ulyanovsk branch of Tupolev, Stanislav Ryzhakov, named the main problems in the current state of the Russian aircraft industry. According to him, the industry has already «devoured» a lot of money, but has not produced anything yet, the expert believes.
He cited the SJ-100 as an example, which is only undergoing endless research and testing, but there is still no aircraft. The situation is different with the MC-21 - the lack of expected characteristics.
Even the old aircraft - Il-76 in Ulyanovsk - is made haphazardly. In Soviet times, Tashkent built almost a hundred of them a year. It's a shame. And this is with the availability of new technologies, all sorts of «digital». However, we are only shouting loudly about «digital» so far. What do we have properly digitized? Nothing. The implementation in the aviation industry is non-existent.
Ryzhakov noted that there is a problem with personnel training in the industry. School education is weak, and higher education institutions do not provide the required amount of information.
There is no science. It has come to the point that we conduct tests with our eyes closed. We don't use science, but the trial and error method: we tried this way, it didn't work - let's go that way.
In addition, Ryzhakov believes that design schools have been destroyed in Russia and the connection between generations has been severed. The restoration of the industry is possible, but it is not a quick process.
We need to be like the Japanese: don't kick pensioners out into the street, but include every competent specialist in the work of the enterprise. Now Eduard Sorkin is restoring the team of the Kazan branch of the Tupolev Design Bureau. A difficult task: everyone was dispersed, and now where to find them? If you teach, then growing a sensible person takes at least five years.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Rostec is ready to start supplying MC-21, SJ-100 and Il-114-300 abroad.
