Manufacturer of Su-30SM fighters and MS-21 airliners to triple boiler house capacity after modernization

3.8 billion rubles allocated for re-equipment of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant

The reconstruction of the boiler house of the Irkutsk Aviation Plant (part of PJSC "Yakovlev") will increase its capacity to 40 Gcal/h, the Ministry said of Economic Development of the Irkutsk Region.

The modernization project involves increasing the capacity of heat sources by 25 Gcal/h by installing two modern boilers. This will reduce the cost of heat energy production by 39%, as well as increase the reliability of the company's heat supply.

The government commission on regional development has approved funding for the project at the aircraft plant in the amount of 3.8 billion rubles through infrastructure bonds.

The Irkutsk Aviation Plant builds Su-30SM2 fighters, MS-21 passenger aircraft and Yak-130 light attack aircraft.
