"Don't sink to the level of third world countries." Honored pilot Popov revealed the state of aviation in Russia

Civilian production is gradually recovering, says the candidate of technical sciences

Civil aviation production is gradually recovering in Russia, according to Candidate of Technical Sciences, Honored Pilot Vladimir Popov.

Civilian production is gradually recovering. This process takes time, but the movement has begun. And if we do not implement our plans in the field of civil aviation, then we risk sinking to the level of third world countries.
Vladimir Popov, Honored Pilot

Popov believes that focusing on one's own strengths in civil aviation is "a step in the right direction."

The Tu-214 aircraft will also help to cover part of the needs in trunk routes, although its role will be limited compared to the МС-21. Both projects will support socially significant transportation and help avoid a shortage of aircraft.
