Flight tests of new civilian UAVs are being conducted by "Rosel"

The new multifunctional drones are designed for use in various industries, including agriculture

The Rosel holding (part of the Rostec State Corporation) has begun flight tests of new multifunctional civilian unmanned aerial vehicles. The developed drones are designed for use in agriculture, territory monitoring and educational programs.

The line of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) includes three models: a hexacopter for spraying reagents and two fixed-wing drones - with electric and gasoline engines. All devices support vertical take-off and landing, and are also equipped with a Russian automatic piloting system. Control is possible both in autonomous mode and manually.

The communication between the drones and the ground station is protected from interference and is duplicated by backup channels. According to Rosel, the key advantages of the development are high localization (almost 100% of components are of Russian production) and compliance with the requirements of Rosaviation.

The holding is included in the list of approved UAS developers and has the right to create, test and certify civilian drones.
