Мизулина увидела пропаганду наркотиков в подарках Snoop Dogg в Telegram

Public figure called on the messenger to remove virtual gifts

The head of the "League of Safe Internet," Ekaterina Mizulina, has called on Telegram to remove gifts created in collaboration with rapper Snoop Dogg. The public figure stated that she had received about 200 complaints from users who saw propaganda of prohibited substances in these gifts.

Mizulina believes that virtual items can be perceived as drug advertising, although she herself does not support restrictions for the platform. She added that Telegram should have removed these gifts on its own. In her opinion, collaboration with the rap artist creates a negative image for the messenger, especially in light of discussions about its future in Russia.

It would be better if Telegram itself promptly removed all this. This is the "best" gift that Telegram could give to its opponents.

On July 10, Telegram founder Pavel Durov announced that the Snoop Dogg collection had sold out in 30 minutes. The messenger earned $12 million from this. Durov advised users to avoid addictions, emphasizing that his success and health are associated with more than 20 years of abstinence from alcohol and drugs.
