The presentation of the new version of Aurus Senat will take place at SPIEF-2025. The long-wheelbase model will have extended doors. Their size will be increased compared to the previous model.
The developers plan to reduce unification in stamped parts. Thus, the side doors will fit without a gap, but both sashes will be larger. The interior will become more spacious because of this. Currently, Senat limousines are produced in two versions: the Long version has a 50-centimeter insert, and the full-size limousine has a 1-meter insert.
The standard Aurus Senat belongs to the category of full-size sedans with a length of 5.63 meters. For comparison, the Maybach 62, which is 57 centimeters longer, does not require inserts. The development of the new four-door sedan will probably be handled by the Nizhny Novgorod-based RIDA studio, which already has experience in creating extended Aurus models.
