Tank crews of the Russian forces have protected their vehicles from drones using bundles of steel wire. This unusual find by the soldiers helps tanks remain intact and unharmed in combat conditions.
The tanks received bundles of rods that were welded on top of the anti-drone visor. They are fluffed up before a combat mission.
And when drones arrive, they are impaled on these needles, like a piece of meat on a skewer. It also significantly increases the distance from the explosion to the hull of the combat vehicle.
It is noted that steel needles significantly increase the survivability of "hedgehog tanks." In addition, they can turn an attacking drone into a trophy, as copters often get stuck in the protective elements.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the latest 9M134 Bulat missile will quadruple the ammunition load of the ATGM.
