Small air-cushioned landing craft "Evgeny Kocheshkov" and "Mordovia" of the Baltic Fleet practiced landing military equipment on an unequipped section of the coast in the Baltic Sea. This was reported by the press service of the fleet.

The sailors carried out artillery fire at aerial targets using 30-mm AK-630 automatic guns. The servicemen also conducted exercises on damage control, radiation, chemical and biological protection of ships at sea.

MDKVP "Evgeny Kocheshkov" and "Mordovia" are the largest air-cushioned landing ships in the world. In addition to landing equipment and infantry, they can transport mines and install minefields, move on land, bypassing obstacles.
