The recent closure of the sky in the Kapustin Yar area is not related to their launches

Russia has several dozen medium-range ballistic missiles (MRBM) "Oreshnik". This was reported by military expert Boris Rozhin.

According to him, the flight ban in the area of the Kapustin Yar training ground is not related to the launch of "Oreshnik".

The "Oreshnik" launchers are located in other areas, several dozen missiles are ready.

According to Rozhin, air traffic in the Kapustin Yar area will be closed on May 12-13 for testing an anti-missile system.

From 6:00 on May 12 to 4:00 on May 13, Russia temporarily closed the sky over part of the Saratov and Volgograd regions, which covers the Kapustin Yar training ground. At the same time, restrictions apply from the ground up to an unlimited height, which is typical for ballistic missile tests.

Kapustin Yar was created on May 13, 1946, as the State Central Training Ground of the Ministry of Armed Forces of the USSR for testing missile weapons, the first Soviet ballistic and anti-aircraft missiles.
