Developers of the new Russian supersonic civil aircraft must comply with a number of requirements, including environmental ones. This was stated by aviation expert Oleg Panteleev.
He drew attention to the fact that it follows from the documents on the public procurement website that the purpose of the competition for research work on the development of technologies for passenger supersonic aircraft is to find performers for research work.
Scientists will develop technologies for the airframe, power plant, avionics and aircraft systems for a supersonic civil aircraft.
The main challenge" for a promising aircraft is environmental requirements, according to the documents. It must fly at supersonic speed, but fit within the limits for sonic boom and noise levels. In addition, stringent requirements are specified for the power plant. It must provide a transition through the sound barrier and a long cruising flight at supersonic speed, while consuming fuel economically.
According to Oleg Panteleev, the competition is more of a formality, since the scientific center of international level "Supersonic" is engaged in the aircraft of the future and it has a work plan.
First you need to understand what technologies are needed to create an aircraft. At the output, scientific organizations issue technology demonstrators and some solutions, know-how. And only then will companies design aircraft.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia has set a goal to achieve import substitution in the production of machine tools up to 95%.
