The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has filed a new lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of Moscow against JSC "Voentorg", demanding that the company pay almost 914 thousand rubles. According to the document, the application was registered on April 28.

Since the beginning of 2025, the ministry has filed ten lawsuits against "Voentorg" for a total amount of almost 2.6 million rubles. It is specified that some of them have already been satisfied.

In August 2024, the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under the article "Fraud" regarding the theft of funds on a particularly large scale during the execution of state contracts for the needs of the Ministry of Defense.

As part of the case, law enforcement officers detained the head of "Voentorg", Vladimir Pavlov, and the "beneficiary of controlled organizations." He is accused of stealing 400 million rubles. Former CEO of "Voentorg-retail", Timur Isakov, was arrested along with Pavlov.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the newest minesweeper "Polyarny" will go to serve in the Northern Fleet.
