The new terminal does not yet serve passengers.

The construction of the new terminal started in April 2023. The Russian-Turkish joint venture "LimakMashStroy" was chosen as the contractor.

Last year, it was assumed that the new international airport terminal would be able to serve up to a thousand passengers per hour, which would increase the annual passenger traffic to 3.8 million people.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the construction of a new transport interchange is underway in St. Petersburg. It will improve access to Pulkovo Airport from the M-11 Neva highway. Work on the embankment and two exits at the junction of the highway has already been completed.
