The fully import-substituted Russian airliner SJ-100 will be in demand in the market. This was stated by Roman Gusarov, editor-in-chief of the Avia.ru portal.
According to him, this aircraft will be profitable to use due to its efficiency.
If you have low sales on a flight, then flying on a Boeing or Airbus, for example, will be unprofitable because it will be half empty. And it will be profitable to fly on Superjet, because it will have less consumption, it is half the size, half the weight.
Gusarov added that as soon as deliveries begin, airlines will line up to purchase this aircraft.
Earlier it became known that the import-substituted Superjet SJ-100 with PD-8 will perform more than 130 certification flights.
