Rostec promised to certify the Superjet SJ-100 aircraft with the PD-8 in the fall of 2025: there will be no shift in deadlines to the right

Information about the certification being postponed to 2026 is not true

Information has spread online that the certification of the import-substituted Superjet SJ-100 is being postponed to March 2026 due to delays in the certification of the Russian PD-8 engine. Rostec State Corporation stated that this is not true.

Earlier www1.ru reported that new Russian aircraft with a flying wing design will be 20% more economical than traditional airliners.
