Russian military personnel have received kamikaze drones with the new "Cometa-M" module, which was used to equip FAB aerial bombs to increase their accuracy. This was reported by military correspondent Alexander Kots.
The journalist clarified that antenna modules were previously installed only on aerial bombs with UMPC and the Geran UAV, but now they are being integrated into heavy drones similar to the Baba Yaga. "Cometa-M" makes drones immune to the effects of electronic warfare equipment.
The digital antenna array of the "Cometa-M" is shielded from artificial interference from the lower hemisphere, which provides protection from radiation from ground-based electronic warfare systems.
In addition, instead of one antenna element, the "Cometa" digital antenna array has four, which allows it to receive spatial information about the direction of arrival of interference radiation and its compensation.
Field experiments have shown that "Cometa" can withstand an interference level 100,000 times greater than that of a conventional receiver.
Earlier www1.ru reported that RD-107/RD-108 engines for Soyuz rockets have reached a reliability rate of 99.9%.
